Common Assessment Framework and ContactPoint:
CAF and ContactPoint are key components of the Every Child Matters Agenda. CAF can be used by staff across all agencies to assess a child’s needs at the earliest opportunity and enable them to work together more effectively to deliver support. ContactPoint is a national database which will help staff identify other practitioners who are working with a child so that they can contact them to share information.
