The Business Unit and Integrated Working

The purpose of the Business Unit is to manage and drive forward the business of the Trust ensuring the whole system of the Trust and its sub-groups operates effectively to respond to the identified priorities. It is responsible for overseeing and managing many of the cross cutting and redesign elements of the Trust. It has a mandate to act on behalf of the Trust.

Integrated Working

The tradition of collaborative working is strong and the trust is committed to developing tese approaches where outcomes improve as a result. Improvements have been made in the way individuals and organisations plan and work together, information is shared more readily, there are more joint plans and most professionals say they are more familiar with their peers in other organisations in terms of what they do and how to access their services.

Over the next 12 months there will be further developments linked to Multi agency Prevention teams, Targeted Youth Support Services, Common Assessment Framework (CAF), Children’s Centres, Education Improvement Partnerships and Extended Services in and around schools.
